City of Montreal
For the years 2005-2010, the City of Montreal has put together an important economic development strategy with the intent of reinforcing multiple spheres of activity.

Among the first was the creation of Program réussir@montréal (PR@M). This program is targeted at industry and commerce and is divided in three parts:

PR@M Industry

The PR@M Industry is an instigative program aimed at industrial building owners in the Montréal agglomeration. Its goal are to:

  • accelerate real estate investment
  • increase Montreal’s competitiveness
  • maintain a diversified economic structure
  • favour or reconvert the industrial building park

PR@M
Commerce

The PR@M Commerce is a revitalisation program of sectors and commercial arteries and is dedicated to the improvement of the quality of life and economic growth.

PR@M Revitalisation

The PR@M Revitalisation is an instigative program aimed at owners of buildings where industrial or commercial activities take place even though they do not comply with the zoning regulations in effect and create nuisance but are nevertheless tolerated because of acquired rights clauses.
